New post thingy not working

Do other people find this symbol often doesn't appear where it should?

EG You see it in the Index then click on the forum and it's not shown on any of the threads. Go back to the index and it's disappeared. My guess would be a problem with the way this forum handles cookies. It's the same from both my home and work computers.

That has existed since the forum started i think, it suck pretty much, i usually always click on last 25 posts thingy or last 50 depends on how long i've not visited.

The pulsing thing is a popular thread (one over a certain size or so many posts in a space of time.)

The red thingy should let you know that there are posts in the thread you haven't read before but it doesn't work. Rather than you clicking on a thread and going "Oh I haven actually read all this before."
