deathmetal/grindcore breakcore?

Postby DJ Dijitol Junkey » Fri Jul 11, 2008 2:46 am

This may have been posted before but after going through 6 pages of old shit I found nothing so I gave up. But does any one know of anyone that does this? I know of some majors like Drumcorps, Bong-Ra, and Famine. And I'm on a label with a few guys that do it i.e. 9mm and SpaceBeer but... I WANT IT ALL DAMNIT! So yeah, if any one knows of anything at all. I don't care if it's one god damn track. Like V Snares released one track that I know of that has a metal feel and I own that album because of it. I am welcome to any sugestions of big names, medium names, little names or shit fucks on here.

Come to Barcore in NYC on 8.23.08 and listen to me [Digit216] or my friend Larry [aka Nevermind] sets...

i make some pretty thrashy, messy, digigrind type metal n noise shit. larry plays some pretty extreme speedcore/speedmetal...

Also, Mark N is playing, so it's going to be a pretty intense party...

oh and i think realicide is here the week before too...

Atari Teenage Riot and Alec Empire have some Thrash Metal/Hardcore punk stuff mixed with beats. You might also like other Digital Hardcore stuff such as EC8OR and Schizuo. Also, check out DTRASH records as it's packed full of metal and Industrial tinged Breakcore.

Eustachian
Surachai
Deathstorm
Ladyscraper

Check all these guys out. The first three are pretty digi-grind. Deathstorm is Bong Ra and japanese noise artist Marousa's collaboration. Ladyscrapers more breakcore but it sounds like metal!

i would highly, highly recommend Blowupnihilist.

he's maybe a bit more on the digigrind tip, but his material is excellent and satisfying beats.

oh and also Xrin Arms, if you like a little soul/funk mixed up in your digigrind-breakcore. :D

People have already named all the ones that I know...

Genghis Tron, though. They're like cyber/digi-grind, but they're pretty "commercial". Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but they're really good. They don't really have anything to do with breakcore though.
