erm most of those are just subgenres of breakcore. so not really "besides"... and wtf is "cuntcore", is that a joke?
erm are u serious mate? since when were punk, metal, hiphop, speedcore, frenchcore, hardtech and schranz (and gabber and speedcore for that matter!) subgenres of freaking breakcore??? lay off the drugs you TWAT!!![]()
PS: i make cuntcore with your mum and shitcore is what comes out of your dad's arse after i sodomize him with your laptop![]()
Oh man you're so sick and twisted! With your deficient vocabulary, playground insults about my parents and excessive (but limited in scope) swearing - I know better than to fuck with you in future matt bleak! You're a real psycho!
If you don't realise hardcore, gabba, speedcore, frenchcore, hardtech, schranz, darkcore, "shitcore" and (ahem) "cuntcore" all fall under the breakcore umbrella then you clearly don't know your electronic music history. Probably because you haven't experienced most of it, which tallies with what I expected originally; that you are indeed 14 years old.
If I'm wrong, you might want to reconsider how you present yourself on the internet you fucking braindead toothless imbecile.

my tastes are really broad.
On a day to day REGULAR basis, i pretty much listen to old / somewhat recent punk, indie, or hardcore, post-hardcore, blah blah. Like, i can listen to the entire Jawbreaker discography and be at peace with the world. I've always been into punk/hardcore.
I rarely casually listen to electronic music, unless i'm in the mood. Its just not in the regular rotation. I'll check new tunes, or mixes IF i'm interested, whatever. I know where to go if i want to check new stuff. Into anything from dub, dancehall on occasion, noise, techno, old skool acid house - the real shit, dnb, ambience, soundscapey stuff, some breaks, dubstep, industrial.. even some deep / tech house, which i've been listening to again a bit. My *original* dj roots were in ambient and detroit techno-ish stuff back in the early '90s. I did jungle/dnb radioshows for 10 years from 1994 - 2004, so I tend not to listen to much more electronic music unless its needed.
Hip-hop - old to some recent stuff. I like good hip-hop mix radioshows. Dj wise, i like some crunk, heh, goes good with alot of different stuff.
Metal is cool. Some grind. Power violence. I'm picky tho.

I am certaintly no expert on electronica but i would have thought breakcore would fall under the combined hardcore, jungle, gabber, industrial, experimental umbrella.
Ofcourse metal, punk and hiphop- aren't subgenres of breakcore but they have all influenced a lot of breakcore creations.
But fuck all this petty genre/subgenre talk...Analcore FTW

"I AM NOT A ROBOT!... I also like Radiohead."
Favourite genres at the moment I guess are grindcore, breakcore, post-rock, post-metal and tonnes of experimental shit that people like to call avant-garde, anti-rock and other bizarre things.
I also like a bit of punk, hardcore, psychedelic rock, powerviolence, metal, jazz fusion, acid jazz, swing, chicken pickin' country, funk, stoner, party crossover thrash and whatever other silly shit I can get my hands on. In every genre there seems to be 99% shit and 1% gold.
Very bored with death metal.

Sorry just cheking
it's um... fuck i can't even say. they play any kinda music they feel like. they even have a country album. some of it is intenionally bad, some of it is fucking amazing. the general concensus is if you don't like it, you either need more exposure, more intoxication, or a different ween album. generally primus fans seem to like it, but it's definitely an aqquired taste, much like sucking feces and pabst through a garden hose is.
