Detrimentalist... what do you guys think?
i for one love it, it's not really like anything he's done before, it sort of reminds me of lazer thrash but a little slower, great for parties!

For me its a kind of back to basics (If Snares has any basics) record. Lots of fun Jungle-esque tracks and all that. I especially love the Star Trek samples. Great album overall.

I don't really think it's similar to lazer thrash.. but it sure is some nice jungle breakcore.

last i recall he wanted to make rave tunes because it was the old raver inside him.

he started out listening to hardcore then jungle, so in a way it's kinda like going back to his roots but being more advanced.

I didn't really like it that much, since listening to really hard and fast breakcore I find most d'n'b records too slow and formulaic and this album sounds a lot more like those kind of tunes than the Vsnares I'm used to hearing.

I like it a lot, he has just slowed it down a little and thrown in a large dose of jungle..

Its not formulaic at all
