this "Chubby" cunt locked matt's thread that was deleted by who i dunno, but because it was just gonna be people taking stabs at matt.

more drama for this board that it doesn't need.

fine, i understand why mr bleaks thread was locked and removed. im sure this beef which has been going on for a while could be resloved with private messages, pillow fights or just plain old hate-fucking.

However i dont see why the 'oven chips' topic was locked. it does appear to be a 3 post thang, but it also started a conversation...and my endorsement of the batterd mars bar- (one of the few good things to emerge from the uk. soft, creamy and warm. the batterd mars bar kept me warm through many chilly bristolian winters)

i dont think it was wrong to discuss this in the 'general' forum, though i may be wrong.

but i put this question to you: what is necessary censorship and what isnt? when does it go from simply keeping the peace to cruel nazi bollocks? and who censors the censors? how do you maintian consintancy? is it even possible?... where does it end?

a point in case would be that 'we can invade..' post can be considered 'incitement to treason' which in the uk holds the penelty of life imprisionment. Maybe that should be locked for our own protection? maybe you should report me and the others to interpol? maybe you should join in and hatch some plans?

other subjects i have found on this forum include endoresment of drugs, critique of religion, and white people using the word 'nigger'

please note that im not trying to have a go at you guys. but the whole censorship thing has become an issue in my neck of the woods and i would like some opinions from those who are in a position to censor.

I closed the thread with the three poster, i saw someone asking for closing, and in my haste i didnt read beyond, so i can reopen it if you want?, and i will not be so fast in locking shit, maybe a good thread will emerge, and it had nothing to do with mocking or whatever, i don't even understand what the whole bullshit here is about, i just delete stuff and lock shit that i find apropriate, as i think all the other mods do to.
