I don't know if you've noticed, but you've got a bit of a pest problem on this forum. Two suggestions:

0) Delete the mess created by the 'Anonymous' user

1) GET RID OF THE ANONYMOUS/GUEST ACCOUNT. Jesus christ, that one's a no-brainer, why's it even allowed in the first place??

Hello to pimperteen, the anonymous posting has long been disabled, and JM did everything in his power to stop it, they always seem to find a way around it, after numerous updates and whatnot they seemed to stop posting after a while, and now there back, i can't do anything about it!!!

I've even banned know proxys and many updates have been implemented, those damn bots just keep posting.

I dont know why, but whe can't seem to get rid of them.

i'm not going to implement fucking updates and everything to this site, seeing that i know shit about phbb, and it is JM's site.

I don't know how you can think that where not trying to fix it.

EDIT:I now even put anonymous as disallowed username, even though ANONYMOUS/GUESTPOSTING POSTING IS DISABLED, hope it has some effect..

well...because there's tons of those stupid spam posts and no one seems to be deleting them. and because none of the admins have posted to say that it's all trying to be fixed. that's why!

No problem, you just gotta know i dislike those spammingbots as much as you do, the sole purpose why i didn't delete all the posts, was because we don't have a form of mass moderation where you can just delete topics you can easily select, you have to go to each seperate thread delete the topic and go back to last 25 posts and do that about 200 times.

Seeing that i'm back in school i don't have time to constantly moderate everything, as i think all the other mods have normal lives too.

A other thing was when i went in to the usertracks i really could not see any of the post, i could only find them clicking on the thread links in last 25-50-100 posts etc, very weird.

The other weird thing, they used to post in independent and upcoming before, i think after the modifications JM made, they suddenly started posting in usertracks, i think we must find a solution to this, everybody hates spambots.

I do understand why you made the topic about this, because whe didnt inform anybody about it.

I hope we can ban these fuckers of the face of the planet one day.

EDIT: i now see that those anonymous just keep posting , even after i dissallowed there names, Just rest assured that we will do anything in our power too stop it.

EDIT2: I went a little deeper in the forum administration, and i think i found a option that prohibits those posts in the usertrack forum, i hope it works.

Finally fixed it, heheh, if anybody is having any problems in usertracks please tell, apparantle deep down in forum administration, it was allowed to post new shit unregistered, i think there gone, for now...
