Hahah crazyness. I'm kinda scared of the low ceiling though, not that I'm claustrophobic or anything, just how I fly about like I do...I'd kinda hit the ceiling alot.

The teknoist should fit in there nicely judging by the pic he just posted in the user pic thread.

i love the shape of fender basses, just as sexy as a full figured lady.

anyways, good luck to you man, be sure to have fun and try to go at it, the more energy and fun you have the more the crowd feeds off it, don't worry about them if they don't react to it also.

playing to a crowd that is not electronic music friendly can be intimidating, but as long as you enjoy yerself that's all that matters

I've play with lots of punk and metal bands before. Just thrash around a bunch and scream into a microphone as you press play on your laptop.

My first show (like 3 months ago) I played with a bunch of screamo bands, but my music also isn't heavy. So I guess it kind of worked.

It was a great time though. I don't think I've ever had so much fun or felt so proud. Hopefully yours is as good. :D

once you get a few gigs under your belt you will get used to it, ive played so many gigs to empty rooms that when people are dancing to your tunes you buzz off it, i cant think of anything i enjoy more than playing to a crowd that appreciate what im doin, actually playing ridiculously fast fingerstyle blues guitar(think tommy emmanuel, chet atkins) is pretty special to...good luck anyway mate, your gonna love it!!

yeah man! good luck with the show. ive only done a few shows and the last gig i played, i followed a 7 piece soul band (who were amazing as it happens)
the audience didnt dance for me and kinda stood there with open mouths, i thought i had completely fucked things up untill the gig ended and i got loads of amzing feedback, its amazing how greatful music fans are when they experence somthing a bit diffrent.

so my advice is to be fearless. remember your a i hatebreakcore contest winner so you must be fucking good (and if you were shit they would never let you near a stage). you have nothing to loose and everything to gain. live the dream. enjoy yourself.
