Only movie that's actually ever really scared me was Suspiria. I'm talkin' 'nightmares and I couldn't leave my closet door open' scared.
Other than that, a lot of movies are just fun to watch. They're rarely 'scary' - they'll just make you jump occasionally and have lots of gore, whatever. I still like watching movies like that to a degree. The remake of Prom Night crossed that line with a vengeance though. What a piece of shit.

I am a total Blair Witch fan. Not a lot of people are, and I guess it's simply because you never see ANYTHING at all. But it's one of the better psychological thrillers I've ever seen.

Ah well, i can still recall when i saw the first nightmare on elmstreet, i was like 10 or something, shit had me not sleeping for weeks, maybe it was the speed, but that movie is def scary on young age, yes i have bad parents.
