PC + Fruity Loops
Mainly because I can get a Dell for about half the price of a Trendy Macbook. My flat mate is a Mac user but because he does programming, even he admits that 90% of people do not need a Mac, purely because they are marketted as a cool fashion accessory, yet for web browsing and chatting on instant messaging programs, they really aren't worth the extortionate price.
As for Macs being these indestructible, ultra secure super computers that never wear out, it's total bollocks. My flat mate's Macbook had to be taken back after three days of purchase because it stopped closing properly (catch was defective), he's also just had to buy a new hard drive because the old one died, and it wasn't covered by the Mac's warranty. He's also had to reformat it twice due to it gaying up. All in the space of a year (More like 11 months actually).
