Just a bit of a shame the video and the sound don't QUITE sync...but I'd never heard of this guys, he's brilliant, thanks for the heads up!

when do sound and video ever sync on youtube?

edit: i didnt know, but i just figured if you put &fmt=18 at the end of the link, its more or less in sync :D made it a little easier to see what exactly was going on

man i need to get me a kit like that

There is a US sound designer/drummer/programmer named Kamoni who does this stuff using Ableton and his drum midi. He also released some free drum racks for ableton and they are pretty nice also.
