you guys NEVER come to cincinnati anymore... you just skip it
I might actually make the trip up to dayton because I care about the band enough to see a performance, but it would still be nice if you could bother playing a show in cincy at least once in a long while. I know people would come out to see you.

Horse dude, we will be touring the whole US in spring/summer, if you are in the continental US you can meet up w/ us somewhere no prob.
about Cincinnati: OK, we are from Cincinnati. We played relentlessly 2002-2007 locally, even after we started touring more frequently. 2004-07 I was personally promoting at least 1-3 shows almost every month except while on tour. We helped run a venue and radio show in 2005, a peak period for abrasive electronic music locally.
Aside from a couple short-lived climactic points, Cincinnati has never offered us anything but animosity or (even worse) total apathy. Almost no one from Cincinnati has kept in touch since I left the midwest, outside asking us to open for an already existing noise show while I was coincidentally gonna be in town. We decided toward the end of 2007 that we've play a LOT in that area and if people really wanted to show a collective sense of encouragement, our band would not be what it is now at all. If you understand our songs, especially all the hardcore songs we played live 2005-07, you'll understand they are a hostile product of that exact environment. It's not ok - it's not enough for a healthy community.
Dayton Ohio is a compromise, less than an hour away, but with slightly less negative association. Anyone from the south Ohio area is able to get to Dayton fairly easily. Meanwhile there are about 100 other cities we will be in and anyone who wants to meet up and stay in touch is able to do it.
If there is a time when the Cincinnati scene for abrasive and challenging electronic hardcore is not a complete joke, and would be genuinely interested in welcoming us back, then we'll talk. No one has shown me evidence of this in quite a long time though.
