but i have noticed less releases.

I know what you mean about the whole *bang bang* sound though.
I've missed it a bit too.

I'm glad you agree. At least it's not just me who has noticed it.

I'm starting making tracks with Machinochrist so we'll be putting a stop to the lack of 'ravecore'.

one thing i have noticed is some people are like anti-4x4 and don't find anything creative about that.....and repeat how breakcore is only about totally fucked up breaks and sounding supercreative, INTELLIGENT and shit...

Over here gigs are one a month, if we're lucky (usually 2 or 3) and everytime it's kicking, gabba kicks all over the hizzy. And it seams like breakcore's getting a lot bouncier that it would have been a few years ago, like john merick and the fez's shit, BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE.
just memes and donks these days

8) WORD.

Obviously you can't please everybody all the time and have to make a variety but recently i've noticed a decline in Gabba-esque Breakcore.

I'm hoping the 'anger' of the artists who's recent drop in sales may produce some heavy shit!...

I've just started up a side project titled 'Lytton' which is entirely dedicated to the Hardcore/Gabber sound. It's a bit of a homage to Hardcore, there's pretty much no Breakcore involved whatsoever, just plenty of 4 on the floor, terror pads, hoovers, filters and Martin Luther King samples.

I can certainly see the decline in gabba breakcore. Labels are sticking with what they know will sell and therefore, new styles and artists aren't getting as big a break. Pirating music has lead to a great decline in sales as well. And I'm sure the recession has made a great impact also.

For these reasons, I'm releasing a free 11 track mp3 release very soon. It's all tracks that were lined up for release on some well known labels before the drop in sales really affected the labels' output and caused them to drop the plans for release. It's all that gabba and gabba breakcore sound that everyone mentioned wanting.

I look forward to this! Toms wicked!
his new hairs mental

Mark is an absolute hero!
he came to one of my gigs once and got thrown out TWICE for being too fucked.
I had to bargain with the bouncers all night.

I wish NFA was still about.
