Software developers should receive money made from their products.
Hardware is not free, so why should software be the same ?
After saying this, I myself use cracked software, always have and will continue to do so for as long as I do not make money from any software/plugin.
There are enough people out there making money from music, or who are just too simple to think to look for cracked software to pay for a large amount of audio software.

when I was just messing about I used cracked software but now Ive decided its what i want to do Ive started buying stuff. I still use some cracked software but its cos I just dont have the money yet. havent had a release yet either so I dont feel bad :lol:

I used to work with cracked software, until Ableton told me it had detected a copyright violation and kept trying to contact tech support. I was shitting myself for weeks :shock:

i bought a registration for renoise. i think they have a reasonable price and it's just a great program (and i couldn't find a crack of 2.0, and no linux-versions either). besides that i use some random open-source or cracked shit.
