does anyone here struggle to make whole songs? i've got loads of songs that are like 30seconds long at most and for some reason i just cant get past that.... its like im stuck at intro's or something... anyone here do the same or any ideas about how i can sort this out!! ta

Its hard for me because I am in a punk band where all of our songs are a average of 30 seconds. I'm trying to add like a 10 second into to each song which is like a fade in or some audio clip, then extending everything twice as long, and then adding a breakdown. Or you could just write more parts.

your best bet is to come up with some solid intros and midsections then throw all of them together and end it in a screeching halt

Your Best Bet Is To Capitalise The First Letter Of Every Word.

Seriously though, after 30 seconds, create a melody, or if you can't burst out some ill riffs, just repeat the first 30 seconds but whack a load of new effects and filters over the top of them.

thanks for the advice guys, i had a bash at a track the other day, got to about 2mins + sounds like shit though, i guess more practice in the art of renoise is required!
