Dubstep is well and truly 'in' it seems. Don't get me wrong, it has its place, I've produced some dubstep myself, but am I the only one that can only stomach an hour or so of dubstep on a night out? I mean seriously, open the night with it by all means, but when it's getting towards midnight and everyone is pissed up, surely it's time to drop some fast 4 on the floor or devilish quere-breaks to get everyone dancing. There's only so much nodding on the spot I can do before I realise that this falsely advertised Breakcore night is in fact a cover for yet another Dubstep night.

Dubstep is taking over even down in London. Your point also mirrors what i was saying about Breakcore being less varied these days & i agree.
However, there are regular Hardcore nights in Manchester but I'm not sure about Breakcore.

These are regular nights then in Manchester? Not seen them advertised at all, any info on them, like regular venues and times etc?

Yeh fairly regular like. The last Sectioned was on in Feb & Missing is on soon (April i think).
Best place to check is on here. Cheesy website but they have a good selection of events listed.

They have stronger line ups in hard room every other time. Not been to one but my mate has played there & said they have a wicked vibe.
