I Hate Breakcore

It was my first time to bangface and i was 18, 3 days prior to the event.

I sorta dragged 3 other mates with me. They seemed slightly lost when i was going spastic to Hellfish whilst completely sober.

Met some really safe people such as a chap in a sequence(little shiny reflective circles things) gown on DOI muttering the words "gabber, Gabber, gabber" as way of introduction to us. He was from Brighton and i want to go to uni there even more now.

I was extremely gutted about The Teknoist/Mike, read somewhere he was ill which is fair enough.

X&Trick was good to see, wasn't to sure about the sound though i think he may have left a high pass filter on at soom points; lots of gabber kicks without the hard thuds.

Met and shook hands with Bizzy B, and also stood about 2 metres away from Cardopusher. I really had no idea what to say to Cardopusher, he's my musical god equivilant.

To be honest i didn't find snares as enjoyable as i had hoped, but that was only because i'm not massively keen on the stuff on his new release.

Jack Beats was brilliant lots of breaks, electro, bass etc etc..

Sunday's line up was soo good. Devvo was funny, KJ Sawka was pretty mind blowing and then came Kentaro who pushed it even further.

I can't believe we all have to wait another year till the next one.

BTW of anybody saw a slightly smashed in red punto, that was us as we crashed on the way down.

@djtheblade: lineup? I stopped paying attention to those when I came to terms with how fucking awful this scene and its music is :p. I'm there for the drugs and the giggles and the dancing. Plus there will be some sick afterparties innit!

Aye i'm always mother goose who has to babysit everyone else when they OD. I rarely do any illegals so i'm always nominated, at the weekender i make a strict little schedule and caught pockets of micro-sleep just so i could see the specific acts that i wanted to.

Kentaro & Ebola were both awesome, only 2 I really wanted to see.

Awesome weekend wouldnt change it for the world, met some sound like minds and laughed at some unlike minds.
