I've been in a couple of University unions when pendulum have played and they do indeed go pretty nuts.
Then again though, anytime something remotely electronic/dance (including Faithless
) comes on they erupt with that "whoo, whoo" garbage. It's almost like it's an ironic enthusiasm... which I guess is how I feel about pendulum.

a pendulum thread on a bcore forum.
I did a dnb FM radioshow for 10 years, from 1994 - 2004, god knows how much money i spent on the music in that time. I don't think pendulum ever made my playlists, even their earliest stuff. I *think* i'm certain on that one. I stepped off the dnb radio thing just before that shit "blew up". Either way.. ive never been impressed. They're a bit like emo for ravers, innit?

im a huge fan of all genres
i love d&b even now as i have a good look around for new shit all the time
i hate pendulum
of the new stuff (obviously the old stuff is better but its not worth just living in the past)
i like Limewax, Noisia, Current Value, Spor, asc & rogue state, klute, fanu, amit, breakage, counterstrike, black sun empire, dj hidden, enduser, equinox, evol intent, ewun, exile, eye-d, gein, arsenic, gen, kemal, kryptic minds, sileni, spl, third rail
there are more prolly but thats off the top of my head..new d&b ppl that are way better sounding and more interesting than pendulum
the reason they get a room moving is because theyre pendulum and ppl know what they sound like
scene kids love shit like that
