do you have a problem or something?

i've been listening to breakcore and have been reading this forum for a few weeks so what? i also didn't know it was a prerequisite for somebody to create an artform in order to critic it. i don't have a myspace.

i just posted a thread. if you don't like it then keep your opinions to yourself or offer some valid feedback.

after going to your myspace you come across as one of those people who try too hard to be random. don't worry i'm sure some people find you cool.

the sheer "random for the sake of being random" bullshit makes me want to stab some of the posters here with a screwdriver. is it just a coincidence that so many people who post here happen to like disgusting things that are meant to shock people? or are these fucking cunts so brain dead that the only bit of individuality they have revolves around creating random posts and music that requires no thinking but instead relies on just hoping for the fucking best.

why the hell are so many tracks uploaded by users just fucking noise? i mean anybody can include a crappy over-used vocal sample, throw in a couple of breaks with glitch and retrigger effects and then to top it off just sprinkle a fucking distorted 909 all over the place.

rhythm, melody, structure? who needs it right?

music fucking needs it. i mean i can deal with the no structure thing. i think most people can. but when there is just no fucking rhythm and no melody then it just turns into noise, yes the "genre" noise. that is not music because it lacks musical elements. sound experiments would be a more apt title.

so yes i'm asking do people here embrace the random, chaotic nature of breakcore. do you deny its existance. or do you make/listen to breakcore that isn't random but instead very technical and refined in its creation and execution.

hen the fuck did i get amnesia and buy a time machine and post this!?

Yeah I have a problem, and my problem is you. It's the fact that you've listened to a bit of Breakcore, particularly stuff made by bedroom producers, slagged it off because it doesn't sound like how you think it should sound even though your understanding of how it should sound is probably based off no more than a handful of records that you've listened to over the past 'few weeks' or what not, then for some reason you think it's a good idea to paste your puerile tripe all over this forum.
No, you don't need to delve in to the artform to critique it, strictly speaking, you don't need to know the intricate ins and outs of surrealist art in order to register your dissaproval of Salvador Dali, but seriously how many times do you think that producers have listened to criticism from 'the outside'? How many times do you think we get people in our day to day lives ripping the shit out of these sounds, or describing them as a 'load of noise'? Your post is as pretentious as it is predictable, the only point is that the vast majority of people who don't like this sort of music don't waste their pitiful lives by posting about it on a Breakcore forum.

I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to you on behalf of every producer on this forum. It has become clear to me now that you've heard of Venetian Snares and you think that everyone should sound like this. If people aren't good enough yet and are still finding their style, then I recognise now that this isn't good enough and that we must re-double our efforts, so we can make the music that you want to hear, just for you, because evidently you are THE authority on BREAKCORE.

Alternatively you could stick your head in a Snares-approved plastic bag and do us all a favour.

i don't really like snares but whatever. nice guess. i'm sure you expect most people getting into breakcore to like vsnares.

i never said i as the authority on anything. i was just stating my opinion on the way people. in fact yes i was talking mostly about bedroom producers from this forum. that was the very point of the thread.

it's quite clear i hit a nerve with you so don't bother responding.

There is no such thing as breakcore, as there is no such thing as screwdrivers.
So basically, you want to stab us in the head with nothingness because you don't like emptiness.
The world is a void.
None of us exactly exist as we perceive it.

Is this trying to hard to be random?
Or is it just moving on to another subject to prove a point?

Existence is trivial.
Nothing is real.

Breakcore is nothing.

Stop complaining.
It's like you're crying over spilt milk.

I can understand your anger for some of these people, but it's like you're going to somebodies house and insulting them and everything they stand for.
Pretty fucking rude.
Get out of my house.

I figure fair enough if you don't like peoples music(or attempts at) on this site but we re not really make tracks for commercial purposes or even the respect of are peers, just makin tracks for fun. If u like em you like em if u dont you dont! Just dont take it all to heart cos your definatly goin to end up dissapointed.
