ah it's just a cable! I thought it would be like an M-audio or something. I was looking at these cables in a shop the other day. They wanted 50 squid so that kind of put me off. I'm more interested now.

It doesn't mention drivers with the cable. The guy in the shop said it's important that you get drivers with the interface otherwise it might not work. Is this right (or does this actually come with drivers)?

Sorry to be an utter pain in the back with all these questions but thanks for helping me out

most midi interfaces dont require drivers to work with windows xp/vista. if they do it will either be bundled with the interface or available for download from the companies website

What kinda laptop is good for school and maybe games?
Alright i'm getting a laptop sometime soon and well, I want a laptop that runs games smoothly, and can run programs and all sorts alright....I plan on keeping it under $900 dollars though. I dont really want a vista kind of computer because I just dont..But anyways I need to know sometime soon.
