I Hate Breakcore

Hey...so ive like done my gcse's and got pure free time so I wanna get into breakcore, ive done a bit of chiptune before but got a bit slow. What sort of kit would I need to get started in this sort of thing?

is it really? i kinda don't like to use the same samples that everyone uses.

i guess i have a dj's perspective on finding samples and rare breaks.

take pride in making your own samples and sampling shit you love

Some Breakbeats sample pack
Some Gaber samples
Audecity to make samples and re record stuf
Stupid Samples jou can rip from the net using Audecity : Spankwire, Evryting is terible and Foundfootagefest.

I'd recommend finding the breaks pack called "300 breaks". It's 300 classic breaks, all in the raw form ripped from the original songs. Great way to work on your production skills, and you'll have a more unique sound picking out the breaks that catch your ear.

Of course, It's alot easier to use pre-mastered/produced breaks and just slice them up, but thats just depending on other peeps sounds, so yes, your music will probly sound pretty generic.

I don't have a link, but if ya can't find a DL of the pack I might just upload it. Anyone out there know a active link?
