Just wanted to post this here, in case you guys did not see the original posting HERE.

might come to that show. i got another show going on that night, but i'll see whats going on. came to the last barcore show and it was crowded and kinda lame, but maybe this venue will be different. generally NYC breakcore shows suck compared to midwest hardcore shows.

i heard the nyc scene is a sausage fest, that's a damn shame to cuz you'd figure NYC would be picking up the slack that LA lags as far as shows come about.

right now from my observation Portland is pretty much booking a shit ton of shows and could possibly be the new mecca

You honestly didn't like any of the music that Delta 9, Drumcorps, Dev/Null, Screamerclauz, & SweetPeaPod played? Or are you really saying it was "lame" cause there were actually A LOT OF PEOPLE THERE?

from my observations, there are plenty of females at barcore shows, but they're usually not there to meet a dude who thinks "being into breakcore" is enough commonality for she and he to go fuck in the bathroom. i know this because i know a lot of them personally. they're self-respecting human beings, there for the music, not out of any primary desire to meet YOU, or... "de-sausage-ify" the "scene" with their very presence... jesus christ!

sorry. if you want a dumb drug-addled judgement-impaired female to go to bed with you you'll just have to wait for the next trouble & bass party. :lol:

actually, i do remember having my ass groped by a stranger at a barcore show... when i turned around, a young woman was giggling into her cup of beer. i found the whole thing endearingly creepy.

then there was the one very persistent girl who wanted me to drink from her can of pbr while i was trying to perform. that was annoying!

who's letting all these crazy women into our beloved sausage parties??

hehee, soon. i just didn't want to put up any of the stuff that bobby wants to put out, cause he told me not to put any of that stuff up. which is another reason i haven't uploaded a live set, but i'm writing more new stuff, so when i get this shit done, i'll get some tunes up and around and maybe a small live set as well. just been hard with work and what we've been planning, know what i mean!

i liked delta 9 and screamerclauz, dont get me wrong, the music was great. the crowd was lame. we tried to mosh to drumcorps and people with their hands on their chin gave us evil looks and told us to chill the fuck out. NYC scene def needs to take lessons from midwest.

the fact that you are so defensive is quite revealing.

the fatal flaw that people make when it comes to judging live music is disregarding the crowd factor, which is completely different from city to city, state to state, country to country. as a performer, you are relatively helpless to the crowd.

hopefully once i ease into my job a bit (im working 60 hours a week) i'll be able to start making music again and work on a live show. i definitely want to be a part of the scene, so im not knocking it, im just being honest and comparing it to the awesomeness of midwest shows.

i hope that show last night was cool. i really wanted to go, but i had another event that i had to go to for ..um.. political reasons.
