audio output question

Postby Mr. Moloko » Sat Nov 21, 2009 2:11 pm

my laptop has 2 headphone jacks, is there a way to route 2 seperate outputs thru them? i.e use one for cue, the other for main output.

unfortunately probably not, most laptops just split the output the same way a little two way splitter would before it hits those two jacks, youd have to buy and audio interface with more than one output

for example

Yea that would be nice. I just got an m-audio Fast Track Pro so I could cue and output. I don't have too much clutter with me so its not so bad.
