i think breakcore as a genre needs to go for it a bit more and be a bit mental again!

some reasons why is breakcore is

Postby Haakh » Fri Nov 06, 2009 5:38 pm

yes, there are lot of shitty artists (maybe i am one of them :D) HWAHWAHWAHWAHA!

There are lot of bad clones. Clones are bad... ...they have come (from outer space), infiltrated and now they are killing breakcore.

amen breaks are good, but i think people use it too much and in a wrong way (respect for those, who use it in a right way - omg that's so subjective).

How about some competition ? ----> RULES: most avantgarde breakcore track.

So it's blatantly obvious how incredibly drunk I am in this thread...if you trace back to page two...you will see these three posts in the order they appear here.

First post:

I highly doubt it...it's probably total bullshit. Just like the rest...Bastardo sounds like Rotator forgot to take his viagara...Krumble sounds like Ebola doing dubstep...again...or Rotator if he took to MUCH viagara.

I am surrounded by fucking idiots.

Second post:

(even though I just said it's all probably total bullshit...)

It's ALL good shit though...

Just stop bein such arrogatnt fuckin pricks about it...

Now this is the best part. Even though in the first post, I explained what I thought bastardo and krumble sound like...

Don't even start me on what krumble and bastardo and even fucking rotator himself sound like.

:D

Wow! I'm real sorry fellas! Although I think the initial point was valid. Don't discourage the noobs from mutilating some amens, because you can really learn alot from it (I know I did. Wait till the next EP/LP!)

This is what happens when you label a certain movement in music something,
it's like metal allover again, it's the same sound, very simillar patterns and the same expression. this is what happens when artists listen to something that is labeled somthing (breakcore) and have to adjust there individual talent to preconcieved form of something else, the amen has nothing to do with it in my mind, it's the idea of doing somthing that is not unique to you.

Thats why im happy breakcore is dead, cause somthing new will come

Uhhhh I thought the whole point of genre was to classify specify sounds and whatnot? It would be super stupid if you couldn't predict what breakcore would sound like to, at least, some degree.
But if breakcore is getting worse lets look at the bright side...It's not punk yet.

But when you can predict what it will sound like, it becomes boring :?

Then wouldn't listening to a song more than once be boring?
I could tell you what the majority of powerviolence is going to sound like but I'm still fine with listening to it?
