Really?...really?

that was possible the most deeply ironic response haha
doesnt it just make you want to give up on life..

It's neither ironic nor valid really.
my user name doesn't necessarily reflect the music I make (which is what I the matter at hand was)
and it's less of a reference to fecis and more that stupid thing parents do their kids (I.E. mikeypoo, kaitypoo etc.) (maybe it's regional?)

aww i was underestimated :?
haha

i meant that as a a primary level of irony being that you responded seriously and honestly to a vaguely ironic indecisive post, the irony runs deeper because someone made fun of your name in an immature way (which in itself had quite a strong sarcastic tone) in response to your response which critisized that same immaturity
the best part about it though is that i couldnt even tell if you were serious when you asked "really, really?"

if indeed you were than it would be all the funnier

if you were not than you would be answering sarcasm with sarcasm which was brought upon by yet another level of sarcasm to begin with haha.

internet sarcasm is like fighting yourself with the lights off

okay, so, by YOUR terms, my "joke" songs (which coincidentally are my most popular) are no longer deamed valid, because my natural tongue-in-cheek humour spills over into my tracks.

I've said this and I'll say it again, this is the only place where no one agrees on the genre that they're all meant to be into, so whats the point?

there is no point

(and by the way to you who originally posted this, let's see you try to make a funny song, bet you I won't laugh)
just memes and donks these days

we should all make a greater effort to show everybody they don't know anything and don't belong anywhere.

what are yall's thoughts?

Same shit happened to metal years ago. Tight trousers made a comeback, followed by gay haircuts. Or was it the other way around? Anyways Ive seen the haircuts in breakcore but no tight trousers as yet.......

nah dude, you make whatever you like. I just listened to some of your tunes, didn't really hear anything that offended me. In fact, I'd say that what you do - you do it well. But if you are going to purely make that kinda mashcore stuff, then you accept that you may well be just another faceless shitmat derivative bobbing in a sea of countless indistinguishable clones.

Maybe you couldn't care less about that. Fair play innit.

There are, i think, at least a couple of ways of considering a piece of music; 1) for pleasure/satisfaction and 2) for utility. "Pleasure" perhaps being, a nice melody or a complex rhythm structure or just a really nice production to listen to and experience. "Utility", on the other hand, I guess would be something that just gets the job done - gets you on your feet and dancing + smiling and rushing your tits off, whatever. Utility tracks, if anything, work better when they're a bit rough and stripped down. Nice and simple.

one type is not any better than the other of course, but I do think there's a bit of an inbalance with breakcore. There seems to be a ton of what I would call Utility music and not a lot of Pleasure music. Which is a big shame, cos ...fuck.. there must be sooo many unexplored sounds out there! I'd love to hear someone doing something new with this style of music. Even if I didn't like the track, I'd sit through it twice before I listened to any more amen/ragga/jungle/gabba/mashcore.
