What everyone else think? or has this already been spoke about before?

I'd be interested in hosting something for us, however with current time constraints and my existing workload with website and label I don't think i'd have time to set anything like this up. If anyone else wants to get off their arse and do something though i'd be more than happy to negotiate some sort of hosting. I have no idea how an internet radio works mind you, i'd probably just pre-record some shit and upload them as mp3 podcasts or whatever.

I think that is a realy good idea too ! And that's true that we have a fuckin' load of traxxx on this website to play a non-stop radio with random track hehehe.

Im sure I can configuere my server some way to host this...

I could have it just play a random selection of usertracks probably...

or would it be better to just play some peoples mix sets?

you could set a few of us up to load tracks into the player.
that way mixes and tracks could be cycled, and it wouldn't be just
one person with all the work load of doing that.

plus,

you could set up a shoutcast account and have a few of us do shows as well.
maybe like once a month or something.

just a thought.

That is a great idea... Get like 5-6 (maybe more) people interested in running a cooperative shoutcast account?

I would be very interested in doing that.

Maybe have people sign up for a guest spot and do a once a week type thing (plus have a default streaming radio)

I seem to remember making a script that sorted through the UserTracks and picked the top 20 highest rated, last 3 contest winners, 5 random tracks, and 5 newest tracks....

I could just have that be a regular weekly show by playing that specific group of tracks...
