Yeah, my thinking would be like each artist picking their favourite game and doing a track based around it. Either sampling the music, SFX or even building the tracks up from scratch... I got thinking about it cause I've just started a tune based around the music from Click Clock Wood in Banjo Kazooie.

I think there is a lot of potential in this, and I'm surprised it's not been done before given that I think a lot of breakcore producers would have grown up playing Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time rather than Tetris and Pacman...
The only N64 samples I've heard are the oblivion samples from Turok 2 in Hellfish's Radical Digital. Also I sampled the Asylum level from Shadowman for my tune on Sonic Intifada.

Goldeneyes and ocarina of time are both my favorite N64 games, would like too do a zelda's theme remix but ALF allready did it

Can't we just do video games in general, I feel left out as I never owned an N64
I've got a newish track which samples kKND, a demo of which is already on my myspace player, KKND was PC and Playstation though not N64.

Fuckin hell you Playstation kids suck. You must have at least played some deathmatches on a mates copy of Goldeneye. I refuse to believe that anyone managed to reach the age of 20 without ever playing a Nintendo 64.
I think video games in general is a bit of a vague theme... how about fifth generation gaming? PS1, N64 and maybe even Dreamcast games haha!

i'm gonna be honest, it's a shite idea.
an idea that will only excel to a net label release.
i personally wouldn't go for it, but if you find yerself doing it and having fun then so be it.

I certainly wouldn't be doing it for anything more than a bit of fun... and I'd love to hear it for my own benefit!
