yeah i know what you do. good buzz. I was recently offered a chiptune gig, but I'd have to dumb my stuff down to chipstep, which i just cant do. So it was thusly aggreed that the next month would be a gabber/chiptune night so i'm all over that motherfucker.
ps nintendostep is a better name for it anyway
haha, why is it hard for you to do chipstep?
i lose my interest with gabber really quick, anything that is way repetitive to make puts me to sleep, especially if i try and make acid, that's like the best way to knock myself out when i'm not even tired
urgh cause dubstep in general is pretty fuckin boring, spend like 20 mins getting a solid loop, then next bar i get bored and wack an amen and babylon bwoy over it, except for one tune i did (prey) which was just the "deep throat" preset from massive, i've never done any dubstep i like. and the closest i've ever come to chipstep was this -

i mad like that one but again thats just fuckin massive presets
fucking slooooooowstep
EDIT: I recall you claiming you spent 14$ on that "i <3 Gabber Kicks" sticker in one of your videos or something, tad redundant no? thats a lot of doughstep
just memes and donks these days

dubstep tracks are pretty easy - if you can put a lpf wobble on square/sine layered and maybe run a bit of parallel fx you can make a dubstep bass I love dubstep but still don't get how people dance to dubstep and glitch-hop they just kinda shuffle back and forth which is pretty boring...
the faster bpms are way cooler for just flailin about and gravity kinda carries you to the downbeat
hey snafu that track on the dtrash/severed digit is halftime 180 no?

for me i have lots of fun making dubstep and Incorporating my breakcore style in it. i don't limit myself when it comes to molesting my beats, i like em techy and busy. i get off on fucking a beat the fuck up. with breakcore i'll be damed if i use the same break pattern more than once. with dubstep it's necessary to have a repetitive beat for mixing purposes
and about the sticker, i do love gabber kicks, and i use them in dubstep and any other genre i damn well please
