Hardcore comp update and other news, you will all like this!

So the deadline for the Hardcore comp is nearly upon us, got some boss tracks from the likes of Dj Mutante, Eraserhead, Prototype, Gekko and i'm hopefully gonna be privy to a deadly collab between Tapage and Hidden/The Outside Agency. I had set the deadline for the end of this month (tomorrow) but seeing as i'm in Canada for the next two weeks, i'll consider anything that's in my inbox when I return (18th July). So if you wanna get involved in a free compilation that is routed deeply in Hardcore/Gabber then send me your submissions to lytton@marionette-records.co.uk

This free Hardcore compilation will be released on the new record label, which will be called Raston Warrior records. A website is being designed as we speak. Raston warrior has nothing to do with Rastas or Rasta culture or anything like that, we're not another bunch of well-to-do Bristol Wiggers, we're Doctor Who nerds and it's a reference to a robot that features in the show!

But that aside, Raston warrior is gonna focus on Hardcore music, particularly techy and experimetal forms, including stuff tinged with Breakcore, Psychedellic, noise and the ever evolving Drum'n'core/Skullstep sounds which are being pushed forward by acts such as Outside agency, Current Value, Macheen Boi, Teknoist, Promo, Jakub23 and others.

It's all dead exciting and I wanna involve you guys as much as possible, because even though virtually no intelligent dialogue takes place here any more, and even though most of you are total fucking retards, I still heart you to death. It's not definite yet, they've gotta finish it first and decide upon an appropriate outlet, if that doesn't go ahead though I've heard some meaty new collab material between Tapage and Lady Twilight which will please all dark industrial Hardcore fans

We're still at the stage where anything can happen, but i've seen a first draft of the website today and it's looking mint.

Oh, and for anyone who is in doubt as to how hard the Raston Warrior robot is, well, see for yourself how one easily dismantles an entire batallion of Cybermen (click picture for video):

The track isn't ready yet so it looks set to be a Tapage and Lady Twilight collaboration.
