Bad breakcore is far more offensive than bad dubstep.
Bad Breakcore track names are usually like "I raped your mum with a Mackerel" or "Dance your cunt lolcore". Whereas crap Dubstep track names are usually like "Scritty rotation" or "Feel the wonker" or "LFO drop", which, whilst less immature are also less imaginative, because Dubstep producers only know about 25 words in total.

"I raped your mum with a Mackrel" literally laughed so hard when I read that, quality mate....
Mr Fulf, you are right man bad breakcore is much worse than bad dubstep, if people took more time on their tracks then there would be so much more stuff worth listeneing to.
People think that just whackin a few amens and gabba kicks together and using glitch to mash them up sounds good (I should know, I've been there!) but it really doesnt!
My advice to anyone wanting to try and produce any type of music is that you have to put the work in (I personally do approx 4-6 hours a day), use decent equipment & decent samples otherwise you'll just end up churning out the same unimaginative drivel that is so boring it puts Dead people to sleep.

the fact that people are more keen on sabotaging another forum than trying to improve this one says it all really. people are just too far up their own asses.
the sad thing is I actually find myself reading the dubstep production forum quite a lot and its more interesting to read than this one. and i fucking hate dubstep.
the forum needs to be simplified massively, having so many pointless subforums is compeltely counterproductive. although as the old "omg vsnares" / "omg drumcorps" threads get so tiresome maybe we could have a "new to breakcore" subforum...that would actually be quite useful.

Aye but everyone gave up making serious forum suggestions about 2 years ago when Merrick basically stopped working on the forum. He stops by once every blue moon but we've just learned to potter about and get on with it the way things are.

Well. Why don't you give this site the finger, come up with a name and create a new website?
Personally I think this place is a fucking dogshit kebab. Right old mess, fuck it off.

I wish JM was back we need to better the forum/contest/layout/remove 3 post rule/improve download section/remove a lot of sub forums, too much to do, but we can't do anything without JM, I feel myself a member on an abandoned forum.

you guys don't listen to idm?
expand your horizons and explore what this IDM world has to offer. . . then incorporate t into your tunes.
breakcore doesn't have to be retarded mashups of songs you listened to as a youth or lady gaga songs.
i dunno who said it was ok to add breaks over pop songs but that shit needs to stop.
i myself always incorporated breakcore into the beautiful feeling of self destruction and other intense emotions.
i like it that way

you know if someone says they don't like something....
that means you can't do it. 'cause everyone knows it's better not to go against the herd and/or one single individual and their really awesome input.
hell, if everyone acted as individuals, this world would be colourfull...
How about we make an official ihatebreakcore.com template for breakcore so know one can draw outside the lines anymore.......finally, all the tracks will sound exactly the same!!!!!!!!!!! oh, but that would mean that YOU wouldn't be special anymore.... :'(
forget the whole thing

everyone is entitled to their own opinion, god forbid anyone take serious what anyone else says.
that's why i love the internet, cuz i bitch alot, and i need somewhere to do it.
if you follow a heard, that's your dumbass fault.
but if you keep doing yer thing and you're good at it, props are bound to come your way. . . Regardless.
fuck what anyone says, especially my dumbass.

At the end of the day "breakcore" and "dubstep" are just tags, good music is good music period. dont sit down and think right i'm gonna produce a certain type of track, take influence from these and do what feels natural when you sit in the studio.
