Too many artists not enough fans!

Its a major problem with br#*kcore imo. You go to a show and see someone incredible and think 'hey, he just has a laptop in front of him. Maybe I could do this.' NO you cant and should stop now. Learn to take a step back look at your tracks and say 'Wow that sucks!'. If all the shitty core producers reverted back to being fans there might be even more hope in cores future.

And now alot of the greats (Ebola, Cardopusher, Horse Force etc) are making shitty dubstep and contributing to that problem... end of rant. thank you.

Its a major problem with games imo. You play an awesome indie-game, and it's incredible and think 'hey, he made all this on his laptop. Maybe I could do this.' NO you cant and should stop now. Learn to take a step back look at your indie-games and say 'Wow that sucks!'. If all the shitty indie-game programmers reverted back to being fans there might be even more hope in games future.

Its a major problem with amature porn imo. You go to a show and see someone incredible and think 'hey, she just has a pole in front of her. Maybe I could do this.' NO you cant and should stop now. Dont get me wrong, I like Ebola (prefer the early stuff) and some of Cardopushers stuff but you have got to admit it is just gabba kicks and amens! to class them as "greats" is a bit strong.

Personally anyone who is "great" in my opinion needs to have there own sound, feeling and has contributed in more ways than just music ie Christoph Fringelli, Frank Rotator, Simon Underground, Hellfish, Squarepusher, AFX & the list goes on. .......

The problem is too many people making music they think other people wanna hear, if you are making music for that reason to sound like " breakcore" then stop. Make music cus you enjoy it and fuck what fits into a genre.

A lot of bedroom Breakcore has become a standardised core genre, the artists expect that people want to hear some amens and ragga vocals, then Breakcore in the minds of newer fans has become this much more limited vision rather than an incredibly diverse hybrid style. But yeah, the best artists were those who did all sorts of creative shit with loads of different ideas and sounds thrown in to the mix.

right, i maybe should have added an 'imo' for that first comment. Also, those were the first three names that came to mind who now make clubstep and used to make interesting music imo.

I couldnt agree more with the rest of your comment though.

the dude is a fucking Musician not a fucking robot. you know how Boring it is to only listen to Breakcore? very.

to only limit yourself to
All i listen to is Breakcore
is a limit i would not limit myself to.

people get inspired by different things every day, i'd rather him do what he likes to do and keep his name then for him to create a shit ton of retarded aliases.

you can be both an artist and a fan at the same time
you don't think every artist is also a fan of someone else?
what if instead of a fan/artist subject/object construct, you looked at it as a unified whole, a conversation?

It's not breakcore if it does not make you hate the breakcore scene.

Its a major problem with astronauts imo. You go to a show and see someone incredible and think 'hey, he just has a rocketship and space and shit in front of him. Maybe I could do this.' NO you cant and should stop now. Learn to take a step back look at your space exploring sills and say 'Wow that sucks!'.
