For those unfamiliar,

Selector Catalogue is a Breakcore/Braindance artist from the Mid-West.

The Beginning:
SC first appeared on the scene April 27th, 2003 in Detroit opening for Doormouse,
Baseck, and Otto Von Schirach. A legendary show assembled by LOW RES. While
spinning regularly in Detroit, he started his record label Reject Records in 2004. The
first release was a 12” compilation called "We Exist” which came into conception
after the first Battle of the Bits (botb) competition in Ann Arbor. Shortly after this,
he began to play "Live".

Development:
New Years Eve 2005 marked the new beginning of SC's involvement with From the Gut
(Detroit). A collective which would go on to assemble some of the best Breakcore
shows in History. Many of these were held in the From the Gut Loft. During this time,
he was living in Ann Arbor at "the Bassment" another notable Breakcore venue in
Michigan and playing shows around the mid-west. SC then moved to Portland, Oregon
just in time to witness the first Portland Breakcore show, assembled by the Reactionary
crew. Refining his sound and playing up and down the west coast including California’s
Mutant Fest, he became well known in the Breakcore/Trashtronica circles there. After
a year Catalogue returned home to play Anti-Mass, the official Pre-Party for Schizophrenia
2. Later, he organized Anti-Mass 2, the official pre-party for Schizophrenia 3 in Madison
Wisconsin (legendary).

Still Doing It:
Currently, SC spends much of his time running killercore.org (Breakcore Distribution)
and developing the future of his label, playing shows, and organizing them. Although
KILLERCORE has come together in a positive way, it can’t compete with the speed of a
download. So if you’re not getting enough Selector Catalogue fast enough, you’re
about to. A new song every two weeks is a bold claim, can he do it? Find out!

this is the kind of thing that can really sound great with immaculate sound in some kinda lucrative situation OR in a basement with a fucked up mixer in the red - really good rep of midwest US breakcore, good ambitions for this year, big ups
