I watched the video. That's pretty cool. I just wished that guy put some rhythm in it or something.

And I don't own a Mac (kind of wish I did), so I can't get Reason.

I'm largely self taught in it but there's a wealth of free material on the internet, including image-line's own FL tutorials all over youtube.

Welcome, by the way.

Thanks, I just hear a lot that Ableton is the shit, and FL Studio is just a basic music producing program. I will never write off FL Studio though. I want to learn to use other programs, because some of the features in FL Studio I don't like and some I do.

As said before definitely don't write off Fruity loops by what other people are saying, or any other program for that matter.

I don't know why, but that quote kind of turned me on a bit.

DO NOT listen to anyone who tells you Ableton is better than FL, especially seeing as they probably can't use either for shit.

I don't see why anyone would dismiss it, everyone uses external VSTs anyway, so like, I'm not even sure what point I'm trying to make here, but liek, it's all the same.

Although I kinda wish I had started on Ableton, just because it looks great for using live and I'd like a go of that launchpad. But fuck it, I'll have to stick to traktor, because FL7 actually kills my laptop completely when I try to use it live... Don't even get me started on any other FL versions.

Just keep using it mayne, it doesn't really have limits as long as you know what your doing, and if you eve rhave any problems, just ask snaphu, he knows all and sees all.
