THE THEMATICS FACEBOOK EXPERIMENT

For the first show of 2012, I opened up the selections to those people who "like" the Thematics Facebook Page. Earlier in the week, using random selection, I sent messages to roughly 40 people. I asked these people what the last thing was they listened to, and then what their favourite track off it was. If they happened to be listening to a clip of something online this would've been fine also.

The following results, in the form of my playlist this week, are the first 26 people's selections. I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome as it shows a wide variety of musical styles from people of all demographics. I didn't care if you didn't happen to like the track, I expected and got a stinker or two (a mixture of both mine and the test subject's opinion).

Thanks heaps to all those who were nice enough to play along, and sorry to the ones who got in too late or weren't chosen by my highly-confidential random tools.
