He did have some trouble with a Visa a while back, although i don't know if that would have prevented him from travelling round the UK...

With all due respect i don't think you can judge the entire UK by Peterborough. It is a fucking dive, and is basically a railway hub for the rest of the country. Try going to places like Bristol, Norwich, Sheffield or Manchester. Places that don't suck donkey balls essentially. That being said, there is a lot that is crap about the UK. Oh well.

I didn't know you could live in Peterborough, I thought you just slowly died... I've been to Belgium a few times and the only redeeming factor I could discover was that the inventor of the saxophone was born there. And that their beer tastes like piss. See? Everyone can make sweeping, generalised statements, but they are usually wrong. I've lived in the UK my whole life and, on the whole, I love it. But thank fuck I've never been to Peterborough!

I don't think east anglia is the best place to garner an accurate sample of the united kingdom.

I was born and raised in the South-East of England and lived there for twenty-five years. Three years ago I moved to the U.S. I love it here but I will always have fond memories of my home country. Everywhere you go there will be positives and negatives. I loved the openmindedness of the people and the music scenes of the UK but I hated the fucking attitude and chavs. I love the friendlyness of the people here and how laidback the Midwest is but I hate the healthcare system and the fact that every single fucking day you hear about five people getting shot or a baby that was abducted.

God Save The Queen.

There be break-core everywhere in the uk i live in Reading and i think that we actually have more breakcore per square inch of dance floor than anywhere else in the uk* based solely off our having few venues and lots of breakcore nuts

*n.b. this statistic may be total balls :P

The UK is all well and good but having lived in Cambridge for four years I can tell you its not all good news. If you don't want to listen to Bach Cantatas BMV whatever and just want some really rediculously over the top music like you find in most breakcore nights then Cambridge is the wrong town to get mixed up in. Their is a healthy goth and Hippie following and pletty of would be Anarchists to prat about with though. I love hippies; the kind who never realised nam finished ages ago.

Really? Cambridge has quite a few breakcore nights running as far as I'm aware. A lot of the Harmitage Shanks guys are from that area and Life4Land are based there. Plus, I know A-Mental go down for nights and I'm guessing Love Love do as well. Obviously it's not going to be quite the same as Bristol or London but then very few places are.

They also have the Uprizing nights which look pretty tasty, i think they are once a month. They had Enduser and Hoonboy on last night. I think that counts as pretty good Breakcore!
