I Hate Breakcore

i deal with this problem by making my tracks in a short period of time. if i were ever to make an album, i would probably end up locked in a padded room before i finished.

seriously though, i am just saying that to be prolific within this genre it takes a lot of solitude and i know that with me there is only so much i can handle before i have to go crazy / let off steam...was wondering how other producers cope, hence this thread.
and of course i like doing what i am doing, i love producing ridiculously obscure trax that only 5 people in the entire world will enjoy...i live for such infamy!
just the whole 'hunched over a screen in a dark bedtomb for weeks on end without barely encountering another human being' thing can become a bit monotonous sometimes.

hehe. hmm, it's not like that for me. i do mine on the train to work, or when I get back home for an hour or 2 if I can be bothered. you should ease up a bit!

I myself feel like that from promoting & DJing. I know i'm not producing but you still get the frustration & loneliness feeling from it.

Proper pisses me off at times tryin to promote the music for little or no appreciation. It doesn't matter if you put on sick raves with amazing line-ups that you won't get to see very often, it's still not fuckin enough for some chumps.

So i usually just go around biting people on their ears like a wild animal.

im living in one of the most isolated parts of NSW (australia) right on the coast, so im constantly surrounded by fuckwit surfies, supertrendy cockheads, and absolute scum who can barely manage to string a sentence together. Problem is, it is the rugby capital, and the alcohol capital, so they are all HUGE and are all angry drunks, so if anyone even holds eye contact with anyone else for more than a second, you get your face kicked the fuck in. iv been living here for 2 years, and do not know of 1 person who even knows what a turntable or mixer is, let alone ever been exposed to any core' genres, and when i show them, they usually retreat and spread rumours about this total weirdo that needs his head kicked in. How do i cope? - weed, alcohol, and hunting.

I'm actually not that lonely when producing, i have my imaginary friend bob with me, he always helps me out, do this do that etc.

But sometimes he tells me to burn things and use drugs, so i can't be hold acountable for my actions.

Always wanted to visit the uk, will probably do so after a round trip of europe. Australia really is a great place to live, its just that im stuck in the worst part of it. Im a fairly specialized mechanical engineer, there are about 30 people in this country that do what i do, so i kind of relocate to wherever the work is, which is heavily decreasing, due to all mechanical/electrical components being imported because its much cheaper, so in the long run ill probably end up in china, or japan.
How did i get into breakcore etc? - grew up listening to early prodigy, Ministry, anything extreme with an electronic edge to it.Discovered gabba at 11 yrs old,and now listen to nothing but various core styles. So theres my life story to anyone who gives a fuck
